Inventing Reality

Michael Parenti shows how the capitalist class - which owns the majority of Western media, thus consolidating their control over the messaging that reaches us - distorts and manipulates the news in order to persuade the rest of us into betraying our own class interests in favor of those who own the information sources. This book was released a year before Noam "Best Friends With Jeffrey Epstein" Chomsky and his co-author Edward S. Herman published "Manufacturing Consent." I would argue that Parenti does a better job of communicating on this subject.
