My comrade Tracy Jones wrote the above on Facebook earlier tonight, and I reposted it publicly to my own page with the words below:
LGBTQ+ people are being targeted by bigots and US government at all levels in part DUE to their support and fighting on behalf of Black people. Being anti-racist in a white supremacist empire puts a target on your back, on top of whatever other marginalizations one may already have living in this Capitalist shithole.
And 33 states have loopholes in their mandatory reporting of childhood sexual assaults for which category?
Drag Queens? No
Trans people? No
Queer people? No
Clergy? YES
And the churches are fighting to keep those loopholes protected and in place.
This is all part of increasing Fascism in the US.
You have to pick a side: Fascism or Socialism.
